Alcohol, my permanent accessory
Alcohol, a party-time necessity
Alcohol, alternative to feeling like yourself
O Alcohol, I still drink to your health
I love you more than I did the week before
I discovered alcohol
Forget the cafe latte, screw the raspberry iced tea
A Malibu and Coke for you, a G&T for me
Alcohol, Your songs resolve like
my life never will
When someone else is picking up the bill
I love you more than I did the week before
I discovered alcohol
O Alcohol, would you please forgive me?
For while I cannot love myself
I'll use something else.

Habbo Rights
Oct. 5th, 2006 | 04:17 pm
"Why is it that, as a culture, we are more comfortable seeing two men holding guns than blocking pools?" - Ernest Gaines
We would like to know who really believes in habbo rights on livejournal. There is no bribe of a miracle or anything like that. If you truly believe in habbo rights, then repost this and title the post as ‘Habbo Rights.’ If you don't believe in habbo rights, then just bobba yourself. Thanks. I whistled for a cab and when it came near the Licensplate said "fresh" and had a dice in the mirror If anything I could say that this cab was rare But I thought now forget it, yo home to bel-air I pulled up to a house about seven or eight And I yelled to the cabby "yo, home smell you later" Looked at my kingdom I was finally there To settle my throne as the prince of bel-air

From
imbrii,
( And the other result )
![]() | You scored as III - The Empress. The Empress is a maternal symbol. She is the mother figure who loves, nurtures and protects. She will protect you, she will always be there when you are in trouble. When you fall over and graze your knee, the Empress will kiss it better. Yet she is not a weak figure. Her compassion is strength. If her children are threatened she will stop at nothing to protect them. If well aspected in a Tarot spread, the Empress can symbolise security, protection and unconditional love. If badly aspected it can represent over-protectiveness, fear of risk taking and refusal to face the real world.

An article on dinosaurs getting it on. Very awesome, standard disclaimers apply, i.e, furthering scientific knowledge, etc, not wanking at work, etc. Lol.
And also, where PETA has failed, others have risen in their stead*. Milk is the beverage from Satan's mammaries! Doodz!
*Meant to be satirical. And hilarious.

Ugh, I think the paint fumes at my new place are eating my throat raw. It's...unpleasant. But it's not a bad place for not a bad price, and I bought a huge five shelf library for my room. It is one of those shelves that I will never be able to move, so I hope future tenants will appreciate my contribution to the greater good. I went up to Mentor, OH this weekend to see my estranged friend Ryan Shaw and we went to Cedar Point, where they have a CP Shop. Get it? No? It's for the best.
Also, a little late into the game, but:
If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and I. It can be anything you want- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

ZOMG ICON MEME!
1) Comment and I'll pick one of your LJ interests and make you an icon. (Credit me, please...if I actually make one.)
2) You have absolutely no say in what I make. (and no whining, bitches!)
3) You can pick between having a normal icon or an animated icon. (Yeah. Uh, expect a bit for an animated one; I haven't made one since God-knows when.)
4) If you do partake in it, please put this in your LJ so I can do the same to you.

Today is like my birthday, only better, because I managed to find one of Mr. Braziel's short stories posted in its entirety online (RE;AL vol. XXIV). There are a couple more reviews he's published in, but I think I've found the main ones. Combined with the Clackmas LR, I'll probably have as much as I can get ahold of, poetry not withstanding.
Nothing really notable happened this weekend, but it was very nice to get away from Cincinnati and be with family for a while, especially if it's only for a few days. Ha, yeah, that's love. I did hang out with my sister and her friends, one of which I had Spanish II in high school with. And seriously, WHAT. He ended up going from smallish and cute-ish to not-quite-so-smallish and hot-ish. My head = really fucked. x_X
If you're ever in Dayton, eat at Bravo!, because it's damned delicious. You'll do it if you know what's good for you.
I think I'm going to have to pass on the Weakerthans concert next Monday, because, well, it's Monday. Dag, yo.
I wonder if Mr. Braziel ever feels bitter because his work is better than a lot of the stuff published in the mainstream market, but all he's really been featured in are college press literary reviews. I guess I kind of keep looking for his stuff so perhaps it will be like everything he's ever done wouldn't have been in vain, haha.
I'm afraid he'll die unknown.
